Biography

She completed her undergraduate education in Istanbul Bilim University, Department of Psychology and graduated in 2017. In the same year, she won the Üsküdar University Clinical Psychology Master’s Program and became a Clinical Psychologist in 2019. She earned her specialization with the thesis “Perceived Parenting Style in Young Adults and the Relationship between Perceived Emotional Availability and Self-Esteem”. She completed her specialist internship at Np Brain Hospital Psychiatry Service.

During her undergraduate education, she successfully completed her internships by working in the neuropsychology laboratory of the Capa Medical Faculty hospital, private hospitals and psychological counseling centers. She took part in many academic and social projects both on the organizing committee and as a volunteer.

Accredited by the European Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapy (EABCT), She received “Cognitive Behavioral Therapy” training from Prof. Dr.  Mehmet Z. Sungur. She received Interpersonal Relations Psychotherapy training within the scope of Üsküdar University Master’s Program, conducted and successfully completed individual psychotherapy sessions under supervision.

She received Schema Therapy training from Alp Karaosmanoğlu in 2019.

She completed Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy training from Mindfulness Institute in 2020.

In 2022, she received Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Level I training from the Behavioral Sciences Institute.

She uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Schema Therapy and EMDR approaches in her work. She has been actively seeing clients since 2018. She worked full-time in a private hospital between 2017-2018. In 2019, she continued to work with refugees within the scope of the “social cohesion project” carried out with Unicef under the Ministry of Youth and Sports. While she continued to see her clients online and in a private clinic between 2020-2022, she was in London for 6 months in 2022 to complete her vocational training and language training. She continues her professional life as a Clinical Psychologist at Madalyon Psychiatry Center.
