Play Therapy

Bu içeriği Yapay Zekâ ile özetleyin

Play therapy is a therapy technique used to understand children’s problems, analyze their emotions and behaviors, and enable children to find solutions by confronting them. The main goals of play therapy are to create a safe environment through play for children to resolve their emotional conflicts, while supporting their language, cognitive and motor development.

Through play therapy, the child brings pieces of his/her life into play and shares his/her feelings about what he/she has experienced, thus helping the child express his/her problems. The aim is then to resolve and restructure conflicts. Because it is often difficult to learn about children’s feelings and thoughts by asking them questions. A child who does not answer the questions will reveal many feelings and thoughts during play with an expert. This therapy technique is different from the play played at home with parents or at school with teachers.
