Madalyon Psychiatry Center was founded on March 7, 2005, in Ankara by Dr. Gülseren Budayıcıoğlu. The center’s mission is to provide mental health services to all segments of society in a scientific, reliable, and accessible manner. Since its establishment, Madalyon has operated with a human-centered approach grounded in ethical values, offering services in various fields such as psychiatry, psychotherapy, child and adolescent mental health, and couple and family therapy.
In response to increasing demand, Madalyon moved to its new headquarters in Ankara in 2014 and continued to grow, opening its Istanbul European Side branch in 2013 and its Asian Side branch in 2017. Today, Madalyon Psychiatry Center is one of the leading institutions in Turkey in the fields of psychiatry and psychology, serving hundreds of thousands of people annually at its clinics in Ankara and Istanbul.
Dr. Gülseren Budayıcıoğlu graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine and served for many years as a faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry at the same university. She founded Madalyon Psychiatry Center to share her academic knowledge and experience with society. Known for her work in mental health, her books, and her insightful approach to the human inner world, Dr. Budayıcıoğlu shaped Madalyon’s core philosophy around the belief that “healing begins with the right question.”
Beyond individual treatment processes, Dr. Budayıcıoğlu also aimed to pioneer psychological support services for organizations. In line with this vision, she established the Madalyon Corporate unit to develop mental health consultancy services tailored for the business world.
