Mobbing is, in short, a systematic policy of intimidation and devaluation applied by superiors or colleagues against a single person or a group of employees in a work environment. If you notice that a superior or colleague at work is making a special effort to point out your mistakes and ignore your successes, and if these criticisms become directed at your personality over time, it becomes difficult for you to protect yourself psychologically.
Since we spend almost all day in the work environment, the person who is exposed to mobbing enters into a victim mentality, has difficulty using the coping skills he used before, feels helpless, and becomes constantly preoccupied with work even outside of work.
Sometimes they start making mistakes even in simple tasks. Research shows that a common characteristic of people who are exposed to this kind of bullying is that after a while they start to perceive themselves as unsuccessful by agreeing with the person who is doing the mobbing.
