Biography

After graduating from the Department of Psychology at Bilkent University, Specialist Clinical Psychologist Nida DAL İDİKUT completed her master’s degree at Bournemouth University with high honors, with her project on ‘Neurological diseases and head injuries in childhood,’ which she attended with a high achievement scholarship. During her undergraduate education, she conducted internships and projects related to individual and family therapy at Ankara Medical Park Hospital and Gazi University Hospital.

During her master’s education, she went through a supervision process with many families and individuals in England. During this time, she received various trainings at Bournemouth University, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Therapy, Sexual Therapy, Family Counseling and Therapy, and Short-Term Solution-Focused Therapy. She became a practitioner of both adult and child assessment tests such as MMPI, WISC-R, Personality Screening Inventory, Rorschach, Beier Sentence Completion, and drawing tests.

She started her professional career at Private Lokman Hekim Akay Hospital in Ankara while also working part-time as an academician at Bilkent University. She conducted courses in Introduction to Psychology and Psychological Tests and Measurements for five semesters. At the same time, she became both a psychological counselor and a lecturer of psychopathology at Lokman Hekim University, affiliated with her hospital.
