Biography

Clinical Psychologist Nefise Demirbozan Zengin completed her undergraduate studies in Psychology at Istanbul Aydın University on a scholarship in 2015. Between 2017–2019, she earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with her thesis “The Relationship Between Digital Game Addiction, Parental Attitudes, and Self-Esteem.”

During her undergraduate and graduate education, she completed internships at Istanbul Courthouse and NP Istanbul Brain Hospital. She then worked for 7 years at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Community and Mental Health Center in the psychometry and adult psychotherapy units. Afterwards, she gained further experience at Surp Pırgiç Armenian Hospital and in several private clinics.

She is a member of the Turkish Psychological Association and the Dr. Abdülkadir Özbek Psychodrama Association. She regularly receives supervision and continues her own personal analysis process.

Certifications & Additional Training

  • Completed Basic Stage Psychodrama Training (450 hours) at Dr. Abdülkadir Özbek Psychodrama Association; collaborated with various psychodramatists at congresses. Currently continuing advanced-level psychodrama training.
  • Couple and Family Therapy Training (700 hours) approved by the European Family Therapy Association (EFTA), instructed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Dokur.
  • Completed a 2-year Birth Preparation Educator and Birth Psychology Training program at Istanbul Birth Academy with internships; submitted thesis “The Right Brain Dominates in Psychotherapy.”
  • EMDR Training – Levels 1 & 2 (DBE).
