Biography

Elmas Eser Baysal was born in the Netherlands and completed her pre-university education in Zwolle and graduated from the Department of Nursing.

She studied Psychology at the University of Groningen and received his Bachelor’s Degree. In 2008, she completed her Master’s degree in Clinical & Developmental Psychology and graduated.

In 2008, she first did an internship at the Forensic Psychology Center in Groningen, then started to work as a permanent staff. During this period, he mostly worked in the fields of domestic violence, relationship therapy (hetero/homo), sexual perversions (such as fetish and exhibitionism), anger control and personality disorders.

She qualified for Health Psychology Education in 2010 and was a postmaster for two years. In order to gain experience and experience in a wide area during this process, she worked at the PsyQ Psychiatry Center belonging to the Municipality of Groningen in 2011 and received supervision for the tests and psychotherapies she applied for 2 years.

Working as a specialist psychologist at the Groningen Center for Forensic Psychiatry in 2012, Elmas Eser Baysal has worked especially with convicts, offenders on probation, and patients with a psychiatric disorder with potential criminal behavior. She applied individual treatments (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychotherapy, Schema Therapy, Trauma etc.) and group therapies. She also provided training and supervision to trainee psychologists who did their master’s degree.

After working in the Netherlands for five years, she returned to Turkey in May 2013 and voluntarily supported different projects.

She has been continuing her career as a Clinical Psychologist at Madalyon Psychiatry Center since January 2014.
