Psy. Demet DEMIREL SEN

She completed her undergraduate education at Izmir University as an honor student in 2016. During her undergraduate education, İnönü University Turgut Özal Medical Center Adult Psychiatry and she completed her internships at AMATEM, Dokuz Eylül University Hospital Geriatrics Department, Narlıdere Nursing Home Elderly Care and Rehabilitation Center. During their internships, outpatient and inpatient service interviews, psychological test applications, case meetings and group therapies Joined.

She started Üsküdar University Clinical Psychology Master’s Program in 2018 and graduated as a high honor student in 2020 with her thesis on “The Relationship of Emotional Eating Behavior with Early Maladaptive Schemas and Self-Compassion” and received her specialization. During her graduate education, she completed her internship at Np Istanbul Brain Hospital, and individual psychotherapy at Üsküdar University Psychological Counseling Center.

She has done the work Schema Therapy, EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Short-Term Solution Focused Therapy trainings to work with adults; 8 in Prof. Dr. Zümra Atalay’s training.

She completed the weekly Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program. At the same time, she reinforced the application process by participating in trainings and seminars on various subjects.

She has been continuing her career as a clinical psychologist at Madalyon Psychiatry Center since February 2021.
