Psy. Cansu SAHIN YALCIN

She completed her undergraduate education in Ankara University, Department of Psychology in 2016, with the second place in the department. She completed her undergraduate internship at the Adult Department of the Gülhane Training and Research Hospital (GATA) Department of Psychiatry, and worked voluntarily in the Ankara University Specific Learning Disability, Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Youth Branch, Ankara Autistic Individuals Association Voluntary Interactive Solidarity Project. She started her graduate education at Ankara University Interdisciplinary Family Counseling Master’s Program in 2017 and completed it in 2019. She started her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Başkent University in 2018 and completed her second graduate education here in 2020. During her clinical psychology master’s degree, she received two separate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy supervisions and did her internship at Gülhane Training and Research Hospital (GATA) Department of Psychiatry. She had the opportunity to apply the Minnesota Multidimensional Personality Inventory (MMPI) during her internship; She participated in CAM practices, conducted evaluation interviews, patient follow-up and case formulations. She worked as a psychologist in the Tübitak project during her master’s degree at Başkent University. After graduating, she saw her clients in a private counseling center for a while. At the same time, she reinforced the application process by taking various therapy and test trainings.
