Psy. D. Handan TUGCU AYDOGAN

Handan Tuğcu Aydoğan completed her primary education at Sarar Primary School, her secondary education at Namık Kemal Secondary School, and her high school education at Cumhuriyet High School. In 1981, she graduated as the top student from the Department of Psychology at Hacettepe University and received the İhsan Doğramacı Outstanding Achievement Award. She continued her education at Hacettepe University, earning a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology (1985–1987) and a doctoral degree in Psychology (1993–1996).Professional Career

From 1987 to 2024, Dr. Aydoğan worked at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry. During this time, she:

• Provided psychotherapy including individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, and family group sessions.
• Conducted psychological assessments using both objective and projective tests.
• Planned and participated in research projects.

Dr. Aydoğan has participated in numerous national and international conferences, workshops, and in-service training programs throughout her career, continuously updating her clinical knowledge and skills.
