During her undergraduate studies, Clinical Psychologist Burcu Bal completed internships both in a private psychiatry clinic and in various psychology-related fields as a volunteer. She completed her undergraduate thesis under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Ilgın Gökler with the study titled “Developing a Scale for Adolescents’ Difficulties and Frustrations Related to the Pandemic – Preliminary Findings” and graduated with honors.
Within the Clinical Psychology Master’s Program at Atılım University, she carried out clinical applications and practices as a trainee clinical psychologist at Boylam Psychiatry Hospital and Boylam AMATEM Hospital under the guidance and supervision of Prof. Dr. Ertuğrul Köroğlu. For her master’s thesis project, she designed an experimental study to investigate the factors influencing individuals’ choices of psychologists, contributing to the field of clinical psychology.
Following her graduate studies, she continued her professional career in the field of clinical psychology, first at a private clinic and then in collaboration with a psychiatrist. She has received training in International Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Level 1 EMDR Therapy.
Burcu Bal works with adolescents and adults, and she currently continues her professional career as a Clinical Psychologist at Madalyon Psychiatry Center.
