Expert Clinical Psychologist Aras Özaras is a clinical psychologist specializing in psychodynamic therapy. After completing his undergraduate studies in Psychology at Istanbul Okan University, he successfully earned his master’s degree with high honors from the same university. For his master’s thesis, he conducted research on “The Examination of Relationships Between Depression, Perceived Stress, and Perceived Social Support Levels in Adults,” exploring the importance of psychological recovery and support systems in-depth.
During his academic journey, he gained invaluable knowledge in the field of psychology from esteemed professors such as Prof. Dr. Doğan Şahin and Prof. Dr. Dilek Şirvanlı, acquiring a broad and solid foundation of expertise.
Through therapy methods based on the core principles of the psychodynamic approach, Özaras helps individuals understand their unconscious processes and achieve emotional healing. Focusing particularly on attachment theory, the effects of past experiences on present life, and processes like transference, Özaras conducts in-depth work on topics such as love, relationship dynamics, and emotional attachment.
