Biyografi

Pınar Selin Gözeler Akçora graduated from Maltepe University, Department of Psychology. She completed her master’s degree in Maltepe University, Department of Clinical Psychology with her thesis on ‘Perceived Stress Level and Relationship of Attributions in Relationships with Marital Adjustment’ and received the title of Specialist Clinical Psychologist. She did her clinical internship in Erenköy Mental and Neurological Diseases Hospital Male Psychosis and Amatem services.

During her undergraduate education: One year with children who were driven to crime and who were victims of crime, who did internship in GATA, Bakırköy Psychiatric Hospitals, and who were under the protection of the state under the “Together with Children Project” of Maltepe University Application and Research Center for Children Living and Working on the Streets (SOYAÇ). Between 2012 and 2015, he gave basic orientation trainings to people who will volunteer at the Turkish Education Volunteers Foundation (TEGV).

Within the scope of the Freedom Against the Children Foundation of Turkey (TCYOV) “Freedom Again” project, psycho-social support activities for 12-18 children living in Maltepe Children’s and Youth closed prison, pending trial, after release or at risk of being dragged into crime, for twelve weeks. included in the donor team. She took part as a volunteer psychologist in the project “Adaptation of Roma Children to Social Life,” located in the Selami Ali district of Üsküdar, and participated in the in-project trainings.

She attended the 11th National Alcohol and Substance Addiction Congress held in 2017 with a scholarship from the Green Crescent and was entitled to receive Basic Addiction Training. At the 5th Couple and Family Therapies Symposium held in 2019, she made a presentation on “The Relationship between Perceived Stress Level and Attributions in Relationships with Marital Adjustment”.

After her graduation, she provided psychological counseling services to students and staff in the Psychological Counseling Unit of a foundation university, and continued to work as a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist in various medical centers and psychological counseling centers.
