Biyografi

Yılmaz Eren Seyhan completed his undergraduate education at Beykent University, Department of Psychology. Immediately after his undergraduate education, he completed his master’s degree at Haliç University, Department of Clinical Psychology with his thesis on “The Effect of Perceived Parental Attitudes in Secondary School Students on Peer Bullying and Victimization, and Cyberbullying and Victimization” with a high honor degree.

During undergraduate, graduate and pedagogical formation education; he worked as a long-term intern psychologist for 3 years at Abant İzzet Baysal Mental Health and Diseases Training and Research Hospital, Bolu Sakarya Primary School, İstanbul Hasan Şadoğlu Secondary School. He worked as a Clinical Psychologist for 3 years at the Turkish Green Crescent Foundation, right after he was in Canada for about 1 year to complete his professional education and receive English language training. During his time at the Green Crescent, he attended trainings, seminars and symposiums in the field of addiction. Finally, as a Clinical Psychologist at Haliç University, he conducted psychotherapy interviews with students, academic and administrative staff who need psychological support, and organized seminars, group and workshop studies within the scope of preventive studies.

Within the framework of the trainings and supervisions he received, mainly alcohol, substance, gambling and internet addictions, depression, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, phobia, obsessive compulsive disorder, sleep disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder and grief problems, nutrition and eating disorders, relationship and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing Techniques and Short Term Solution Focused Therapy schools on communication problems, self-confidence problems, family communication, school and school problems, coping with stress and anger control. She provides online and face-to-face psychotherapies.

Currently, he continues his professional life as a Clinical Psychologist at Madalyon Psychiatry Center.
